XAI, the artificial intelligence startup owned by American billionaire Elon Musk, is in discussions to lease a data center in Saudi Arabia.

According to people familiar with the matter, who spoke to Bloomberg, the move comes as part of the American company’s efforts to expand its infrastructure in areas with cheaper energy.
