China’s foreign trade, including imports and exports, grew 2.9% year-on-year, reaching 21.79 trillion yuan (about $3.05 trillion) in the first half of 2025.
The General Administration of Customs of China indicated today that the growth rate accelerated compared to the first five months of the year, which recorded a 2.5% increase.
It showed that Chinese exports rose 7.2% year-on-year during the first six months of the year, while imports declined 2.7% year-on-year.
