Al Jouf Cement Appoints Qais Hussein Balas as BOD Member

Al Jouf Cement Co. announced on Sunday the Board of Directors’ Decision to approve the appointment of Mr. Qais Hussein Balas as a member of the Board of Directors, replacing the resigning Member, Mr. Abdulkarim bin Mohammed Al-Nahair. This appointment is effective from the date of the Board’s Decision until the end of the current Board term on August 05, 2027. The appointment will be presented to the First General Assembly for Decision.

According to the Company, Mr. Qais Balas has over 25 years of leadership experience. He served as CEO of Manaseer Cement Factory, one of the largest industrial groups in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He further enhanced his skills as executive CFO of GMS Group and Senior Internal Auditor at Fastlink.

He also contributed to Al-Hikma Group as the Head of Investments and Business Development, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, demonstrating his proficiency in global markets
