Iran confirms continued oil production, refining and storage facilities unaffected by Israeli attack

The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company announced that it is producing and providing stable services at full capacity, with no interruptions.

It indicated that oil refining and storage facilities were not damaged during the Israeli attacks.

Iran is the third-largest oil producer in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), producing about 3.3 million barrels per day, or 3% of global production, according to Reuters.

FGE Consulting says Iran refines the equivalent of 2.6 million barrels per day of crude oil and condensates and exports 2.6 million barrels per day of crude oil, condensates, and refined products.

According to FGE, Iran also produces 34 billion cubic feet of gas per day, equivalent to 7% of global production. All of this gas is consumed domestically. Iran’s oil and gas production facilities are primarily concentrated in the southwest, with oil facilities in Khuzestan Province, gas in Bushehr Province, and condensate facilities from the giant South Pars field.
