Aramco CEO: We seek to increase gas production by 60%

Saudi Aramco CEO and President Amin Nasser stated that they seek to diversify the Kingdom’s economy by focusing on conventional energy while enhancing subsidized energy by increasing gas production by 60%, developing carbon capture and storage technologies, and investing in renewable energy and hydrogen.

In an interview on Bloomberg’s Wall Street Week, he added that they will continue working to prepare for the challenges of sustainability and the energy transition, while continuing to provide the world with the energy that powers it.
