Almarai Signs SAR 1.040 Bln Acquisition Agreement for Pure Beverages

Almarai announced on Sunday the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of Pure Beverages Industry Company for a total value of SAR 1.040 billion.

The Company explained that Pure Beverages Industry Company specialises in the production of high-quality bottled drinking water in Saudi Arabia and owns the “Ival” and “OSKA” brands. It utilises innovative production technologies while adhering to the highest international quality standards and sustainable industry practices.

It indicated that this strategic acquisition is in line with the Company’s plan to expand its beverage product portfolio and strengthen its market presence.

Almarai revealed that the acquisition will be financed through internal cash flows, and that completion of the transaction is subject to the fulfilment of all contractual conditions and obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
