The Saudi Credit Bureau “SIMAH” has launched the Consumer Protection and Awareness Initiative, in support of its strategic objectives. The initiative aims to raise consumers’ awareness of their rights when using credit products and empower them to make informed financial decisions that contribute to their financial well-being.
Launched under the slogan #YourAwarenessProtectsYourRights, the initiative includes several awareness campaigns throughout 2025. It offers diverse educational content targeting various segments of society and designed to promote financial literacy and responsible credit behavior.
Mr. Sultan Alqudiry, SIMAH’s CEO, stated that this initiative marks a fundamental shift in how SIMAH engages with consumers, reaffirming that the relationship between SIMAH and its customers is built on transparency and trust. The Consumer Protection and Awareness initiative is expected to increase public awareness of how to access and read credit reports, file disputes, and understand update mechanisms. It also aims to highlight consumers’ rights and responsibilities, data privacy and financial fraud prevention, ultimately positioning SIMAH as a trusted national source for credit information in Saudi Arabia.
