US President Trump described his visit to the Kingdom as historic, stressing that he will work to strengthen relations with it and make the partnership stronger.

During his speech at the Saudi-US Investment Forum, he added: “I want to thank the great Saudi people, and I thank the great Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He is a great and unparalleled person. Thank you, my friend.”

He added, “I will never forget the exceptional hospitality that King Salman honored me with eight years ago.” He emphasized that the region is witnessing a major and wonderful transformation under the leadership of King Salman and Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

He explained that Riyadh will become a business center for the entire world, and thanked the Kingdom for its constructive role in facilitating the Ukraine talks.

He indicated that he decided to lift sanctions on Syria at the request of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, adding, “Everything I am doing now is for Prince Mohammed bin Salman.”

Trump also said that America has great allies in the world, but none are stronger than Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
