Taiwanese Hon Hai, known globally as Foxconn and a major manufacturer of Apple and Nvidia devices, announced a 26% increase in sales in April, reaching NT$641.4 billion ($21.4 billion).
This increase was driven by accelerated customer orders ahead of the implementation of new US tariffs, which are expected to raise product costs, especially for major companies like Apple.
Foxconn indicated that this strong performance makes the first four months of 2025 the best in the company’s history, particularly thanks to the significant momentum in its artificial intelligence products.
The company is expected to announce its financial results for the first quarter on May 14, amid global anticipation of the impact of the trade escalation on supply chains.
