SPPC Reports SAR 24.4 Mln Loss in Q1 2025

Saudi Printing & Packaging Co. (SPPC) reported on Tuesday a net loss of SAR 24.4 million for the first quarter of 2025, up 7.9% from a loss of SAR 22.6 million in the same quarter last year, according to preliminary financial results for the (three-month) period ending March 31, 2025.

Operational loss in the first quarter of 2025 widened to SAR 13.5 million from SAR 9.9 million in the same quarter of the previous year, an increase of 37.5%.

Loss per share reached SAR 0.41 in the first quarter, compared to SAR 0.38 in the same quarter a year earlier.

According to the Company, the main reason for the decrease in net loss during the current quarter compared to the previous quarter is the increase in gross profit, in addition to recording credit losses and goodwill losses in the previous quarter.
