Today, at the Digital Government Authority’s headquarters in Riyadh, the Digital Government Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oracle to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
This step reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to accelerating the digital transformation of government agencies and leveraging global best practices in digital services. It also leverages cloud solutions and modern technologies to contribute to building an advanced digital environment that supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Ahmed Al-Suwayan, Governor of the Digital Government Authority, and Cormac Watters, Executive Vice President of Oracle Systems Limited. Dr. Abdullah Al-Faifi, Deputy Governor for Investment and Government Excellence, represented the Digital Government Authority, while Reham Al-Mousa, General Manager of Oracle Saudi Arabia and Vice President of Applications, represented Oracle. Areas of cooperation include implementing development programs for knowledge exchange, initiatives to enhance national skills, and empowering Saudi talent to keep pace with rapid developments in the digital sector, contributing to strengthening national digital capabilities.
This partnership is expected to enhance the Kingdom’s leadership in cloud computing and digital transformation, promote digital awareness among government employees and the community, and enhance the efficiency of government services provided to citizens and residents.
