Saudi Contractors Authority: 3.9% increase in rebar prices during April

Most rebar products recorded an increase of between 0.17% and 3.91% during April 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Data showed a slight decrease in prices in April compared to March 2025, with the decrease ranging between 0.39% and 0.72%, with the exception of 6mm national rebar, which recorded a 1.38% increase. The “Building Materials Price Statistics” bulletin issued by the Saudi Contractors Authority stated that the price of 6 mm national steel reinforcement reached SAR 3,902.42 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 3,944.45 per ton in April 2024, a decrease of 1.07%. The price of 8 mm national steel reinforcement reached SAR 2,763.16 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,758.41 per ton in April 2024, an increase of 0.17%. The price of 10 mm national steel reinforcement reached SAR 2,811.44 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,819.87 per ton in April 2024, an increase of 0.30%. While the price of 12 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,771.44 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,667.22 per ton in April 2024, an increase of 3.91%, the price of 14 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,773.37 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,670.82 per ton in April 2024, an increase of 3.84%. The price of 16 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,774.39 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,670.55 per ton in April 2024, an increase of 3.89%, and the price of 18 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,772.27 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,672.56 per ton in April 2024, an increase of 3.73%. The bulletin indicated that the price of 6 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 3,902.42 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 3,849.28 per ton in March 2025, an increase of 1.38%. Meanwhile, the price of 8 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,763.16 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,776.92 per ton in March 2026, a decrease of 0.50%. The price of 10 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,811.44 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,822.37 per ton in March 2025, a decrease of 0.39%. The price of 12 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,771.44 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,790.98 per ton in March 2025, a decrease of 0.70%. The price of 14 mm National Steel Rebar reached SAR 2,773.37 per ton in April 2025, compared to SAR 2,793.53 in March 2025, a decrease of 0.72%.
