Saudi Arabia and Malaysia Discuss Strengthening Partnership in Digital Economy, AI, and Innovation

Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between the Kingdom and Malaysia at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh with Tunku Zafrul Aziz, Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, as part of the Saudi-Malaysian Coordination Council.

The meeting focused on developing the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and innovation, as well as promoting initiatives that contribute to empowering digital competencies, stimulating entrepreneurship, and expanding the scope of expertise exchange between the two countries.

The meeting highlighted the digital transformations taking place in the Kingdom and its commitment—with the support of its wise leadership—to be a global partner in building the era of intelligence through a world-class digital infrastructure.

The meeting concluded with a joint affirmation of the importance of building qualitative partnerships between the public and private sectors that contribute to accelerating digital growth and investing in future technologies, thus supporting technological and economic integration between the Kingdom and Malaysia.
