Minister of Investment at the Saudi-American Forum: Rapid Transformations and Economic Fluctuations Are Reshaping the International Economy

Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, said: “The rapid transformations, economic fluctuations, and technological developments the world is witnessing will contribute to reshaping the international economy and will provide numerous and significant opportunities to strengthen and expand the strategic partnership between the two countries. They underscore the importance of building strong and sustainable partnerships to achieve mutual interests, based on the strengths of the Saudi and American economies, particularly the strengths of Saudi and American companies.” In his speech at the Saudi-US Investment Forum, held on the sidelines of US President Donald Trump’s visit to the Kingdom, the Minister of Investment praised the number and level of the US and Saudi investment delegations participating in the forum. This delegation embodies the commitment of both countries, as well as Saudi and US private companies, to moving forward towards new horizons of cooperation, continuing more than (90) years of relations between the two countries, characterized by trust and a spirit of partnership based on mutual respect, and a commitment to achieving the common interests and benefits of the economies of both countries.

Engineer Al-Falih addressed the annual report of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 for the year 2024, indicating that the Vision and its various programs have made significant progress in achieving their goals aimed at diversifying and sustaining the Kingdom’s economic resources and opening new horizons for investment in promising sectors, including traditional and renewable energy, advanced technologies and industries, artificial intelligence, tourism, health, biotechnology, logistics, supply chains, and other vital sectors. Al-Falih emphasized that the relationship between the two countries is one of the most important geopolitical ties and bonds, through economic cooperation and business partnerships, and represents a force for global peace and prosperity. He noted that business opportunities in the Kingdom have expanded and multiplied several times as a result of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which has provided numerous opportunities and healthy investment returns.
