Japanese stocks close higher
The Nikkei index rose today, recovering its losses from the start of the session, supported by a weaker yen and long-term bond yields.
The Nikkei index rose 0.51% to 37,724.11 points, while the broader Topix index rose 0.64% to 2,769.49 points.
