HRH The Crown Prince: We have signed agreements with the US worth $300 billion and will work to expand them to $1 trillion

HRH The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, said that the Kingdom and the US share a deep economic relationship that began 92 years ago.

During his speech at the Saudi-US Investment Forum, he explained that agreements worth $300 billion have been signed with the US, and that they will work to expand the agreements to $1 trillion in the coming period. He added that there are 1,300 American companies operating and investing in the Kingdom. The Crown Prince noted that agreements with the United States will support job opportunities and localize industries in the Kingdom, and that the Saudi economy is currently America’s largest economic partner in the region. He added that trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and the United States reached $500 billion from 2013 to 2024. He revealed that the Kingdom’s non-oil exports rose to $82 billion by 2024, and that Vision 2030 has achieved most of its goals and brought about an unprecedented economic transformation. The Crown Prince explained that 200 American companies have established regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia, while the number of American companies in Saudi Arabia has reached 1,300. He noted that the Saudi economy is the fastest-growing in the G20 and is currently the largest economy in the region. The Crown Prince emphasized that joint work between the two countries is not limited to economic cooperation, but extends to establishing security, stability, and peace in the region and the world.
