Bitcoin continued its gains after earlier hitting its highest levels since February, once again surpassing $100,000.
After rising about 4%, the leading cryptocurrency continued its upward trend, gaining about $7,000, or more than 7%, in the last 24 hours to surpass $103,000, according to Coin Metrics.
The price action began overnight after US President Donald Trump first hinted at a US-UK trade agreement. Bitcoin jumped as Trump announced the framework for the deal, along with stocks and other riskier assets.
