Trump Raises Tariffs on China to 125%, Implementation Immediately
US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he has authorized a 90-day pause on the recently announced US tariffs.
Trump added that the pause applies to both countervailing tariffs and the 10% overall tariff, noting that the suspension of tariffs is effective immediately.
Trump stated that he has decided to raise tariffs on imports from China to 125%, and that this increase will take effect immediately.
