Gold prices fell on Tuesday as trade tensions eased, and investors awaited US economic data to assess the path of Federal Reserve policy.
Spot gold fell 0.4% to $3,329.12 per ounce, while US gold futures fell 0.2% to $3,342.40.
Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.1% to $33.21 per ounce, platinum was steady at $986, and palladium lost 0.1% to $948.06.
