Second Edition of HCI Concludes in Riyadh with Over 13,000 Participants from 120 Countries

The second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, concluded under the theme “Beyond Readiness.”

The two-day conference saw the participation of over 300 speakers from 40 countries. These included leaders, policymakers, and international experts from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, international organizations, and numerous academic institutions, with an attendance exceeding 13,000 individuals from over 120 nations. This diversity enriched the conference’s platforms and sessions, fostering dialogue and the exchange of experiences, and highlighting the critical importance of regional and international cooperation in tackling future challenges and advancements in human capability development.

The conference, held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, featured numerous launches and agreements, totaling over 100 initiatives and deals valued at more than SAR8.5 billion across various sectors for human capability development.
