Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, honoured Maaal newspaper for its role as a media sponsor of the second edition of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference, which concluded in Riyadh.
The two-day conference, held under the patronage of the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Human Capability Development Program, took place at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center. The event, themed “Beyond Readiness,” brought together global thought leaders to explore ways of leveraging technology to promote lifelong learning and advance human capital development.
Al-Benyan, who also chairs the Executive Committee of the Human Capability Development Program, presented a commemorative shield to Mutlaq Al-Buqami, CEO of Maaal International Media Company and Editor-in-Chief of Maaal newspaper, in recognition of the outlet’s coverage and support for the initiative.
The conference drew more than 12,000 attendees and featured over 300 speakers from around the world. Discussions focused on education, training, innovation, and international best practices in building future-ready human capabilities.
Also attending the ceremony were Anas AlMudaifer, CEO of the Human Capability Development Program, and his deputy, Dr. Bedour Alrayes, along with senior officials, media professionals, and industry figures.
The HCI Conference was organized by the Human Capability Development Program in partnership with the Ministry of Education, which is concurrently hosting the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx) from April 13 to 16.
