Saudi Arabia, US Discuss Cooperation in Energy Research

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, received US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright and his accompanying delegation at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh, during his official visit to the Kingdom.

During the visit, he was briefed on the center’s role in energy policy research and transformation, climate change, sustainable transportation, and advisory services, as well as the development of analytical models and tools that contribute to finding solutions to current challenges in the energy sector.

Opportunities for cooperation in energy research, the exchange of expertise, and the promotion of joint research were also discussed.
