Saudi Arabia Ranks 13th Globally in FDI Confidence Index 2025

The Kingdom ranked 13th in the Kearney Foreign Direct Investment Confidence Index 2025, cementing its position as a global investment destination.

This advanced ranking reflects the strong confidence of global investors in the Kingdom’s economic trajectory, its focus on innovation, and the ongoing reforms it is implementing within the framework of Vision 2030.

Foreign direct investment flows to non-oil sectors have continued to rise, with global investors attracted by the scale and speed of the transformation Saudi Arabia is witnessing under Vision 2030.

The Kingdom announced the modernization of its investment system with the aim of attracting global investment, improving the competitiveness of its investment environment, contributing to supporting economic diversification, and creating job opportunities in line with Vision 2030 and the objectives of the National Strategy.

The updated investment law is a pillar of the National Investment Strategy, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This strategy contributes to advancing development and diversifying the local economy, aiming to attract more than $100 billion in foreign direct investment annually by 2030.

The updated investment law includes numerous benefits, most notably: strengthening investor rights through fair treatment, intellectual property protection, freedom to manage investments, and smooth transfer of funds, as well as transparency and clarity in procedures, in line with leading practices and contributing to the creation of a reliable investment environment.
