Nama Chemicals Company (2210.SE) said on Sunday it will temporarily shut down its Epoxy Plant and Hasad Project facility, operated by its subsidiary Jubail Chemical Industries Company (JANA), for scheduled maintenance starting April 14.
The shutdown is expected to last 24 days and is part of the company’s annual maintenance plan aimed at improving production efficiency and replacing chemical catalysts, Nama said in a statement on the Saudi stock exchange.
The financial impact will be assessed based on the actual duration of the stoppage and the average selling prices of products during the maintenance period, with the effect to be reflected in the second-quarter 2025 results, the company added.
