The Insurance Authority has officially announced the launch of the master’s Program in Actuarial Science and Insurance & Risk Management for insurance professionals in the Kingdom. In partnership with Bayes Business School in the UK, this initiative reflects the Authority’s commitment to developing the Kingdom’s insurance sector by equipping young Saudi talents with globally recognized practices.
Participants enrolled in the Actuarial Science track receive accreditation from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, recognized by the Society of Actuaries. Meanwhile, those pursuing the Insurance & Risk Management track are accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the Institute of Risk Management (IRM), recognized by the International Insurance Society.
This program aligns with the Authority’s broader goals to invest in a new generation of skilled leaders who will drive innovation and strengthen the sector’s competitiveness, in support of Vision 2030, and it aims to develop national talent through specialized academic training, ultimately preparing them to address the sector’s pressing needs in actuarial science insurance, and risk management.
Launched in collaboration with the Financial Academy, the program is designed to enhance technical and leadership skills, ensuring participants are well-equipped to contribute to the sustainable growth and development of Saudi Arabia’s insurance industry.
As part of its ongoing efforts to build a robust, forward-looking insurance sector, the Insurance Authority will continue to introduce specialized programs tailored to meet emerging needs and support the Kingdom’s future objectives and aspirations.
