Fakeeh Care Signs MoU to Localise Cell and Gene Therapy Solutions

Dr. Soliman Abdel Kader Fakeeh Hospital Co. and its subsidiaries (“Fakeeh Care Group”, “Group”, “Fakeeh Care”) announced on Monday the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding with global innovator Fosun Pharma to introduce and localise advanced cell and gene therapy solutions, particularly CAR-T therapy. The partnership also covers AI-powered digital pathology diagnostics and remote diagnostic services in the Kingdom.

The Company stated that the partnership supports Saudi Vision 2030 by accelerating the development and delivery of these treatments, enhancing diagnostic accuracy, and strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a regional healthcare innovation hub.

According to a statement on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), the memorandum of understanding with Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. will be valid for one year.
