A report issued by the Saudi Contractors Authority confirmed that the price of national black cement increased by 2.19% in March 2025 compared to March 2024, while it recorded a slight increase of 0.57% in March 2025 compared to February 2025. In contrast, the price of national white cement witnessed a relative stability of 0.79% compared to March 2025, and a decrease of 0.79% compared to March 2024.
The “Building Materials Price Statistics” report issued by the Saudi Contractors Authority stated that the price of national black cement was 15.84 riyals in March 2025 compared to 15.50 riyals in March 2024, an increase of 2.19%. The price reached 15.75 riyals in February 2025, a decrease of 0.57%. It added that the price of national white cement reached 15.75 riyals in February 2025. The price of national black cement decreased by 0.05% to 37.83 riyals in March 2025, compared to 37.85 riyals in February 2024. The price also decreased by 5.79% to 37.83 riyals in March 2025, compared to 38.13 riyals in February 2024. The report indicated that the highest price recorded for national black cement in 2024 was 15.86 riyals in August, while the lowest price recorded for national black cement was 14.99 riyals in January. March recorded the highest price in 2025, reaching 15.84 riyals, compared to the lowest price of 15.75 riyals in February. The report stated that the highest price recorded for national white cement in 2024 was 38.13 riyals in March, while the lowest price recorded for national white cement was in January, at 37.34 riyals. January recorded the highest price in 2025, at 37.89 riyals, while March recorded the lowest price, at 37.83 riyals. A report issued by Yamama Cement Company indicated that domestic cement sales declined by 4% in March 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 3.4 million tons in March 2025 compared to 3.5 million tons in March 2024. Export sales increased by 36% in March 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 158 tons in March 2025 compared to 116 tons in March 2024. The report indicated that clinker inventory reached 44.2 million tons in March 2025 compared to 42 million tons in March 2024. Clinker production reached 5 million tons in March 2025 compared to 5.4 million tons in March 2024.
