Americana profit rises 16.5% to SAR 122 million in Q1 2025

Americana Restaurants International PLC announced a 16.5% increase in net profit to SAR 122 million for Q1 2025, compared to SAR 105 million in the same period last year, according to its interim financial results for the period ending March 31, 2025.

Operating profit stood at SAR 171 million, up 34% from SAR 128 million in Q1 2024. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 0.015, compared to SAR 0.012 in the prior-year quarter.

The company attributed the growth to improved like-for-like sales and the ongoing expansion of its store network. It also noted that the performance was achieved despite softer consumer demand in some markets, more Ramadan days this year, and currency devaluation—particularly in Egypt.
