Trump hints at possible tariff reduction on China in exchange for TikTok

US President Donald Trump hinted at the possibility of offering a slight tariff reduction on China in exchange for a deal involving the Chinese-owned TikTok app.

Speaking to reporters, the US president said that regarding TikTok, “China will have to play a role in this, perhaps by giving approval, and I think they will, and I might give them a slight tariff reduction or something like that to get it done.”
