Saudi Contractors Authority: Black Cement Price Increased 1% in February

The price of national black cement increased by 1.09% in February 2025 compared to January 2025, while the price increased by 3.01% compared to February 2024. In contrast, the price of national white cement witnessed a slight decrease of 0.11% compared to February 2025 and an increase of 0.26% compared to February 2024.

The “Building Materials Price Statistics” report issued by the Saudi Contractors Authority stated that the price of national black cement was 15.75 riyals in February 2025, compared to 15.58 riyals in January 2025, while the price reached 15.29 riyals in February 2024. It added that the price of national white cement reached 37.85 riyals in February 2025, compared to 37.89 riyals in January 2025, while the price reached 37.85 riyals in February 2025. 37.75 riyals in February 2024.

A report issued by Yamama Cement Company stated that domestic cement sales increased by 12% in February 2025, reaching 4.6 million tons compared to 4.1 million tons in February 2024. Export sales increased by 78%, reaching 143 tons in February 2025 compared to 80 tons in February 2024.

The report indicated that clinker inventory reached 43.2 million tons in February 2025, compared to 40.6 million tons in February 2024. Clinker production reached 4.1 million tons in February 2025, compared to 4.2 million tons in February 2024.
