Nikkei closes higher on Wall Street rally
Japanese stocks closed higher on Monday, helped by Wall Street’s strong performance last week and a weaker yen.
The Nikkei rose 1.7% to 37,785.47, while the broader Topix index rose 1.77% to 2,729.56.
