Japan’s Nikkei posts gains for second straight day
Japanese stocks rose on the Tokyo Stock Exchange today.
The Nikkei index rose 0.3% to 37,890.15, putting it on track for a second straight day of gains. It had risen about 1% earlier in the session, hitting its highest intraday level in a month.
The broader Topix index advanced 0.2% to 2,802.54.
