IPOs in Saudi Stock Market to rise 26% in 2024, reaching SAR 58 billion

Data released by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) revealed that securities offered for public offerings in the Saudi Stock Market in 2024 registered a value of approximately SAR 58 billion for 43 offerings, compared to approximately SAR 46 billion for 42 offerings, representing a 26% increase in the value of the securities.

According to the CMA’s quarterly statistical bulletin, the value of securities offered for public offerings in the fourth quarter of 2024 reached approximately SAR 16.5 billion for 17 offerings, compared to 15 offerings valued at approximately SAR 27.3 billion during the same quarter of 2023, registering a decrease of approximately SAR 11 billion.

While the third quarter of 2024 witnessed the lowest level of IPOs, with five offerings raising approximately SAR 1.78 billion, compared to seven offerings valued at SAR 4.7 billion during the same quarter of 2023.

The value of offerings increased during the second quarter of 2024, reaching approximately SAR 24.3 billion for 12 offerings, compared to approximately SAR 11.6 billion for 12 offerings during the same period in 2023.

The value of offerings in the first quarter of 2024 reached SAR 15.3 billion, representing nine offerings, while the value of eight offerings reached approximately SAR 2.47 billion during the same quarter of 2023.
