EMAAR EC Loss Widens 349% to SAR 1.1 Billion by End-2024

Emaar, The Economic City, (EMAAR EC) recorded on Thursday losses of SAR 1.1 billion by the end of 2024, compared to losses of SAR 249 million the year before, a 349% increase. This came after today’s announcement of the annual financial results ending December 31, 2024.

The operational loss reached SAR 361 million by the end of 2024, compared to a profit of SAR 243 million the year before.

The total equity (excluding non-controlling interests) decreased by 18% to SAR 5.26 billion in the current year, compared to SAR 6.4 billion in the year before.

The loss per share for the current year amounted to SAR 2.17, compared to a loss of SAR 0.48 the year before.
