Shalfa Facilities Management Co. announced on Thursday the signing of a contract with the National Water Company (NWC) to implement a project to supply and operate equipment for detecting sewer lines using acoustic wave technology at a value of SAR 7.14 million, excluding Value-Added Tax (VAT).
The Company stated in a statement today on “Tadawul” that the financial impact is expected to have a positive impact on the results during the first half of 2025.
The contract details include the scope of work:
1. Supply, operation and maintenance of advanced equipment to assess and inspect blockages in sewage lines using acoustic wave technology;
2. Providing licences for the attached software throughout the project duration to ensure effective operation; and
3. Providing a specialised operation and maintenance team with an appropriate means of transportation to conduct thorough inspections of sewer networks, including inspection manholes and pipelines.
This comes in reference to the Company’s announcement published on the Tadawul website on Dec. 19, 2024 regarding the award of a project with the NWC.
