Saudi Arabia, South Korea discuss cooperation in nuclear power plant construction, clean hydrogen

South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said on Sunday that Lee Ho-hyun, the ministry’s energy policy director, will visit Saudi Arabia next Wednesday, February 26, where he will meet with Nasser Al-Qahtani, assistant minister of energy for electricity affairs, to discuss ways to cooperate between the two countries in the fields of nuclear power plant construction, electricity grid expansion, and clean hydrogen.

According to Yonhap, the South Korean government is scheduled to discuss ways to cooperate in the energy field with the kingdom.

South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said on Sunday that Lee Ho-hyun, the ministry’s energy policy director, will visit Turkey and Saudi Arabia from February 24 to 27 to discuss ways to cooperate in the energy fields, including nuclear energy, electricity grids, hydrogen, and oil.
