Saudi Arabia ranks highest global trust in government sector at 87%

The Edelman Trust Report 2025 revealed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has the highest global trust in the government sector at 87%, outperforming many developed countries.

The annual report, which is one of the most prominent global studies on trust, measures the extent of public confidence in government, and indicated a continuous increase in trust levels, indicating that trust in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has maintained its high levels, and the Kingdom is the most optimistic country in the world about the future at 69% compared to countries around the world, in addition to continuing to lead globally, and the Kingdom has outperformed many major countries in indicators such as the United States (47%), Germany (41%), and the United Kingdom (43%).

The report confirmed that the Saudi government enjoys a trust rate of 87%, making it the most trusted government in the world, starting from strengthening non-oil sectors and creating new job opportunities, to attracting foreign investments and diversifying sources of income.
