Marafiq Announces Financial Close of Al-Haer Independent Sewage Treatment Plant

Power and Water Utility Company in Jubail and Yanbu “Marafiq” announced on Sunday the financial closure of Al-Haer Independent Sewage Treatment Plant project and the project Company’s receipt of closure certificates from the Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), the lenders, on Feb. 07, 2024.

According to the Company, financing agreements were signed after fulfilling all requirements and conditions with a group of financiers consisting of: (BSF, APICORP and Riyad Bank) to cover the project cost in the amount of approximately SAR 1.5 billion, and this cost does not include financing expenses.
