Japan’s Nikkei share average fell to a four-month low on Wednesday, amid a stronger yen and concerns over the U.S. economic outlook.
The Nikkei closed down 0.25 percent at 38,142.37, after falling to 37,742.76 earlier in the session, its lowest since Oct. 25.
The broader Topix index fell 0.3 percent to 2,716.4.
The banking sector index fell 1.67 percent, as yields on Japanese government bonds fell.
