Gold prices stabilized near all-time highs on Tuesday, supported by safe-haven demand.
Spot gold was little changed at $2,950.39 an ounce, down about $6 from Monday’s all-time high of $2,956.15, while U.S. gold futures rose 0.1 percent to $2,967.40.
In other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.3 percent to $32.45 an ounce, platinum was little changed at $966, and palladium fell 0.4 percent to $936.25.
