European stocks open higher
European markets opened higher on Tuesday, with geopolitical tensions in the region boosting defense stocks.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index rose about 0.18% shortly after the opening bell, with major bourses mixed.
The German DAX index fell 0.03% to 22,792.31 points, while the UK’s FTSE 100 index rose 0.07% to 8,183.31 points.
