Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company announced the appointment of Shariyah Review Bureau to audit and evaluate its activities, operations, and products to ensure compliance with approved Sharia guidelines and principles.
According to the company’s statement on Tadawul, the Shariah Supervisory Committee, appointed by Shariyah Review Bureau as the company’s dedicated Sharia advisor, will oversee and review all operations to ensure adherence to Sharia standards.
As part of its commitment to maintaining the highest Sharia governance standards, the company stated that Shariyah Review Bureau and the committee will conduct Sharia audits in line with the governance standards set by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).
Buruj reaffirmed its commitment to these initiatives, emphasizing its dedication to transparency and full compliance with Sharia regulations across all operations.
