AICTEC Exempts Audit Committee Member and Appoints Mohammed Al-Qasim as Successor

Advance International Company for Communication and Information Technology (AICTEC) announced that its Board of Directors has approved the exemption of Maher Nizam Abdulkarim Al-Barghouthi from his position as a member of the Audit Committee due to his absence from more than three consecutive committee meetings during the fiscal year 2024. The decision will take effect on February 5, 2025.

In his place, the Board has appointed Mohammed Al-Fateh Al-Qasim as an external member of the Audit Committee, effective the same date, to complete the remainder of the committee’s statutory term, which ends on December 28, 2027.

According to the company, Al-Qasim holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and administrative sciences with a major in financial accounting from Omdurman Ahlia University (Sudan) in 2011. He also earned a Diploma in Electronic Accounting from the same university in 2012.

With 12 years of experience in finance and international financial standards (IFS), he specializes in financial reporting, transaction analysis, and financial statement preparation. He currently serves as Head of the Accounting Department at a publicly traded company.
