Russia’s oil and gas revenues jump 26% in 2024
Russia’s federal budget revenues from oil and gas sales rose by more than 26% in 2024 to 11.13 trillion rubles ($108.22 billion).
Oil and gas revenues have been the Kremlin’s most important source of cash, accounting for between a third and a half of total budget revenues over the past decade.
Lower oil prices and reduced gas exports have reduced revenues by 24% in 2023.
