Over 60 Qatari Companies Participating in Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia

In light of the joint economic cooperation between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Qatar Development Bank is organizing the Qatar Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia, scheduled for January 28th & 29th, 2025, at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences. This mission aims to strengthen the on-going bilateral cooperation that reflects both countries’ vision and expands partnership horizons between Qatari and Saudi business institutions.
Khalid Abdullah Al-Mana, Vice President of Enterprise Development, Qatar Development Bank, stated regarding this mission: “The Qatar trade mission to Saudi Arabia represents an exceptional opportunity to support our national companies and enable them to enter an important market like the Saudi market, which is full of potential and opportunities.” He added, “We are committed to strengthening economic partnerships with our brothers in the Kingdom to contribute to achieving sustainable development for both countries.”
The trade relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia have witnessed accelerated growth in recent years. Since 2021, the CAGR of bilateral trade has increased by over 87%, with total trade volume reaching more than $1.2 billion in 2024. Qatar private sector exports to the Saudi market rose from $47 million in 2023 to $157 million in 2024. These exports encompass a diverse array of products, showcasing the exceptional value and variety of Qatari industries.
The program includes opening sessions, bilateral meetings between Qatari companies and their Saudi counterparts, and a comprehensive exhibition allowing Qatari companies to showcase their products and services.

Over 60 Qatari companies are planning to participate in this mission, representing diverse sectors including construction materials and products, construction technologies, plastic and packaging products, artificial intelligence, education, sports technologies, oil and gas, travel and tourism, training and education, among other sectors. This diversity reflects the dynamism of Qatar’s economy and its ability to provide innovative solutions meeting the needs of the thriving Saudi market.
