The National Agricultural Development Company (NADEC) announced on Thursday that it received a notification from the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) to adjust the prices of fuel products used in the Company’s operational activities as of January 01, 2025.
NADEC explained that the financial impact of adjusting fuel product prices is estimated at an increase in operating costs by 1.5%. This impact will appear as of the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025.
The Company confirmed that it is working to find ways to reduce this impact by improving operational efficiency, enhancing the efficiency of using resources and fuel products, and enhancing renewable energy sources within our sustainability strategy, in addition to continuing research and development in sustainable technologies to boost productivity and reduce reliance on conventional fuels.
