Minister of Economy: The $600 billion mentioned by the Crown Prince in his call with Trump includes investments and purchases from Saudi public and private sectors

Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning, said that the $600 billion investment mentioned by Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in his call with US President Donald Trump, includes investments and purchases from the public and private sectors.

He added during a dialogue session entitled “Prospects for the Global Economy” within the World Economic Forum: The Kingdom has a long-term partnership with America, and the expected investment reflects the strength of the relationship between the two countries.

The Minister announced that the Kingdom, in partnership with the World Economic Forum, will hold a high-level international meeting of the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia periodically, starting in the first half of 2026

The Minister of Economy indicated that the Kingdom desires to have partnerships with everyone, adding, “Through Vision 2030, we have realized what our economy needs.” He also said that I look at the world with two lenses, one of which sees where we are and the other towards the future.

He explained that the position of the Kingdom and OPEC is related to the stability of the market in the long term, noting that there is an increasing demand from America and artificial intelligence for energy.
