Lenovo unveils a super-fast external storage disk

Chinese company Lenovo has announced the launch of a new portable magnetic storage disk called (Lenovo Y910), which comes to provide a fast external storage solution suitable for smartphones and computers alike.

The new portable storage disk from Lenovo features super-fast transfer speeds, as it provides a reading speed of up to 2000 MB/s, and a writing speed of up to 1900 MB/s, which theoretically allows the transfer of up to one gigabyte of data in one second via the USB-C 3.2 port.

It is worth noting that the storage disk is compatible with magnetic phones, as it was designed to support iPhones equipped with MagSafe technology, and it also works with Android phones compatible with MagSafe accessories.

The disk is a reliable option for recording high-quality videos in 4K resolution with stable writing speeds. The Lenovo Y910 disk is available in two capacities: 1 terabyte, which is a capacity that allows storing about 255 thousand high-resolution images, and 2 terabytes, to store up to 510 thousand images, according to the company.

The Lenovo Y910 external storage drive features a small and lightweight design that makes it easy to carry, and it is also compatible with Windows and macOS computers. Lenovo is offering the drive at a price of $75 for the 1TB capacity, and $120 for the 2TB capacity. The company has started making it available in the Chinese market, and there is no information available about its global launch yet.
