Riyadh is preparing to host the fourth annual Future Minerals Forum (FMF) January 14 to 16, when several important agreements and memoranda of understanding in various areas are expected to be signed between government agencies, global and local companies, and financial institutions.
Organizing the prestigious event reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing its position as a leading global hub in the mining and minerals sector, through supporting all efforts contributing to building international cooperation frameworks in this vital sector, aiming for sustainable development for diverse communities.
The agreements will cover important areas such as exploration, mining, financing, research and development, innovation, sustainability, value-added supply chains, and metal industries, as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to develop the mining sector into a key pillar of economic diversification.
FMF Executive Director Ali Al-Mutairi emphasized the importance of the agreements in enhancing progress at various levels and in building partnerships and implementing advanced mining projects, highlighting the forum as a prestigious international platform that brings together high-level officials, leaders of major mining companies, as well as experts and specialists in this field.
Riyadh will host the fourth annual Future Minerals Forum, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, under the theme “Year of Impact” to continue the global dialogue on the future of mining and minerals and to build further foundations for cooperation worldwide to achieve the set goals for energy transformation and the advancement of modern industries.
