40 Canadian companies express their willingness to invest in Saudi health sector

40 Canadian companies expressed their interest in investing in the health sector in the Kingdom, during the Saudi-Canadian Health Care Forum organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers today at its headquarters with the wide participation of investors from both countries.

Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Dulaim, Chairman of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council, explained that the Council plays a leading role in increasing trade exchange and developing investment between the two countries, reviewing the projects of Vision 2030 and the incentives and facilities provided by the Kingdom to foreign investors, calling for establishing qualitative partnerships in the health sector to transfer Canadian expertise to the Saudi market, and maximize the benefit from the increasing growth in health and medical services and related products.

In turn, the Canadian Ambassador to the Kingdom, Jean-Philippe Linteau, praised the great efforts to strengthen economic relations between the two countries and the role of the Joint Business Council, pointing to the interest and desire of Canadian health companies to invest in the Kingdom in light of the development of the Saudi health sector.

The forum witnessed a review of the investment opportunities available in the health sector in the Kingdom and its trends towards raising the private sector’s participation in the sector to 25% by 2030. It is worth noting that the Kingdom and Canada are working to strengthen their economic relations, especially in the health sector, in light of the growth and expansion witnessed by the sector and the great incentives provided to investors.
